Certification and Recertification Here
is the latest and hopefully the final update. The cert/recert classes will be
taking place @ Gries Hall (15/16 March) on the campus of NMU. The entrance to
Gries Hall is across from the Forest Roberts Theater on 7th street off of
College Ave. We have rooms 165 and 167. We have access to the cafeteria in
the University Center which is connected to Gries Hall. There is also a large
conference going on so we will have to time when we break for lunch so there
won't be conflicts.
The fee is $40 for recert, $50
for cert. Don't forget your Risk Management card if your 18 or older. If you
plan to attend please contact me (e-mail or 228-9197) or Steve Annelin (
steven.annelin@sbcglobal.net 226-2076) so we have an accurate count for the
instructors. This is for testing material, patches, and Laws of the game rule
books. Lets us know before 12 March. There will be ads in the Mining Journal
giving the same information in the next few weeks. Thanks again, Talk to you
soon. - Curtiss J. Umstead
